Summary:The formation of the crust in the northern part of the Baltic Shield in the Meso and Neoarchean occurred during intrusion of TTG juvenile melts to the ancient crust accompanied by crust recycling with participation of Meso and Paleoarchean material in the composition of the gray gneiss protolith. The isotope characteristics of the Paleoproterozoic granitoids were significantly controlled by the presence of Neoarchean material in melts with the content reaching 60-80% in granitoids of the second phase.Strengthening of recycling processes from ancient to younger granites was previously considered as a typical feature for the formation of the Earth's continental crust.
