The temperature and composition dependence of the modulation wave vector of incommensurate calaverite

Single crystals of incommensurately modulated calaverite, with and without silver were grown and analysed using different techniques. The modulation wave vectors of some well characterised samples were measured as a function of both composition and temperature. The thus obtained results were compared to known data of natural calaverite.
