Summary:Intralabyrinthine schwannoma is a rare tumor. Until the present time, the diagnosis, for the most part, has been made either incidentally during labyrinthectomy or described as a pathologic finding during temporal bone histologic studies. This article presents a patient with long-standing dysequilibrium and hearing loss due to an intralabyrinthine schwannoma. Diagnosis was made on the basis of a magnetic resonance imaging with gadolinium prior to surgery and confirmed pathologically on excision.
