New Triterpenes from Mangifera indica

Two new cycloartane-type triterpenes have been isolated from the toots of Mangifera indica. Their structures were determined as cycloartan-3 beta,30-diol and cycloartan-30-ol, respectively, on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic methods.
