Complete genome sequence of Listeria seeligeri strain 43-1 isolated from a Danish forest freshwater swamp

Here, we report the genome sequence of 43-1 isolated from a Danish freshwater swamp using Oxford Nanopore sequencing. The isolate shared a high genomic similarity to two other isolates from soil and water.
