Near-IR fiber-optic probe for electrolytes in aqueous solution
Fiber-optic probes for electrolytes have been developed based on the perturbations of near-IR water bands. The findings of a study, in which single and multiple electrolytes and temperature can be determined from their perturbations of the water bands, are discussed.
