Summary:Ore shoots which have originated in the N-S normal fault, forming the main veins of the Taishu mine, are controlled by structure of the fault and the main path of mineralizing solutions. The places having structure favorable for formation of ore shoot are as follows: (1) The junction of two faults where the N-S fault largely changes its general strike. (2) The place where the N-S fault crosses other fault. (3) The junction of the small faults N-S trend. (4) The place where the N-S fault intersects quartz porphyry. (5) The place where the N-S fault intersects sandstone bed. (6) The place where the faults form the cymoid loop. Mineralizing solutions which had ascended through the junction, standing to mineralizing solutions in the relation of main path, formed each ore shoot at the above-mention " place " near the main path. Therefore, ore shoot on a large scale has originated in the place which is endowed with many favorable conditions as the " place ".
