Summary:In 1991, in response to strong demand by semiconductor researchers, the IEE published 'Properties of Indium Phosphide'. Since then InP has continued to be the subject of intensive R&D, especially in the area of optoelectronics, with over 11,000 papers published in the intervening period. Professor Pearsall has assembled a team of some 20 researchers from around the world in order to identify the significant advances and distil the current knowledge from this large mass of literature. New text, tables and illustrations, which form the bulk of the book, are presented together with some compressed material from the old volume.
