Summary:Removal of tumors that are located in the motor area is a challenge to neurosurgeons because of the possibility of injuring the motor cortex. We present our experience in excision of a recurrent parasagittal meningioma located in the central area. With the help of somatosensory evoked potentials (SSEP) monitoring, the tumor was removed totally without any neurologic sequela.
