Synthesis of novel 2-aryl-3-benzoy1-1H-benzo[f]indole-4,9-diones using a domino reaction

A convenient one-pot multicomponent synthetic approach was developed for the synthesis of novel 2aryl-3-benzoyl-1H-benzo[f]indole-4,9-diones using 2-amino-1,4-naphthoquinone, N-acylmethylpyridinium bromides, and a variety of aromatic aldehydes. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
