Summary: | To make the movie more appropriate for its targeted age group, the experiences of Lena (played by Alexis Bledel of Gilmore Girl fame) with her Greek lover Kostos were edited. The altered drama, a version of Romeo and Juliet, is no less exciting and moving, although Lena's charismatic sister Effie doesn't make an appearance (disappointing). Jenna Boyd played a wonderful Bailey, full of passion for life, and Blake Lively (making her big-screen debut as Bridget Vreeland) was eternally energetic and ready to try anything. America Ferrara, as Carmen Lowell, was full of expression, and Amber Tamblyn, as rebellious, sarcastic Tibby Tomko-Rollins, was great at portraying self-pity. Starring Alexis Bledel, Blake Lively, America Ferrara, Amber Tamblyn |
