Summary:Rev. Michael Taylor, 42, described by one student as a frequent visitor to Lindblom, is accused of luring the teenager into his home earlier this month by offering to help him complete application forms for jobs and colleges. Prosecutors allege Taylor, a volunteer minister at New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church in the Grand Crossing neighborhood, asked the student if he would participate in a sex survey. Taylor allegedly fondled the student and had oral sex with him, said Patti Simone, a spokeswoman for the Cook County state's attorney. Chicago schools CEO Paul Vallas said he will bar Taylor from the Lindblom campus, 6130 S. Wolcott Ave., as a precaution. That effectively prohibits Taylor's participation on the LSC because the council meets at the magnet school, Vallas said.
