Summary:David Blunkett was in little doubt about his priorities yesterday. England and Wales' first-ever national policing plan will target drug- related crime, car crime, burglary, street crime and anti-social behaviour. Supt [Graham Rankin] said: "It is not yet clear how the funding will follow the plan. The main issue is the plan gives us a list of priorities, but doesn't say which are the most important. Northumbria Police's deputy chief constable Mike Craik, said yesterday: "We welcome Mr Blunkett's annual report and the priorities he has raised are ones which have been operating in Northumbria for a number of years.
