Summary:When 30 delegates from Emunah Women of Great Britain visited a Tel Aviv-area Patriot battery as part of their "Solidarity Signal" mission to Israel, they took it upon themselves to lay the groundwork for communication between Israel and an Arab country - on a limited basis. An American soldier informed them that his wife is stationed at a Patriot battery in Saudi Arabia. The two had not spoken to each other for three weeks due to lack of telephone communications between Israel and Saudi Arabia - so the Emunah women flew into action. They took the wife's phone number in Saudi Arabia and promised to call her upon their return to England. Her message to her husband will then be relayed to the Emunah office in Jerusalem, which will transmit it to the anxious husband in Tel Aviv. Melanie Rosenberg
