Summary: | Yolanda, owner of Yolanda's Fashion Salon, 355 Waverly Oaks Road, said yesterday she believed that the thieves threw a brick through the front doors of the establishment in mid-August to test the alarm system and police response. She said no one tried to enter the salon at that time. Yolanda said that the thieves broke a front window Sunday, climbed over a sofa in front of the window, and then, picking up an ornamental elephant, used it to smash two glass doors in a locked glass closet some 12 feet from the front window. Inside the closet were more than two-dozen dresses and fur coats and jackets. |
