Summary:Investor Tim Krause's bid to place a Major League Soccer franchise in Milwaukee suffered a major setback Thursday when the Bradley Center board of directors voted unanimously to ask Wisconsin Sports Management to consider other sites for its proposed stadium. "Our group is not surprised, but a little disappointed, by the comments from representatives of the Bradley Center," Krause said Thursday in a statement. "We will continue to seek a more direct dialogue with the Bradley Center board and staff to demonstrate the value of our plan." Krause said Wednesday that he had not been involved in direct discussions with officials of the Milwaukee Bucks or Sen. Herb Kohl, the Bucks' owner. But Krause indicated that he thought the soccer stadium could prove advantageous to the National Basketball Association franchise, which is the Bradley Center's main tenant.
