| Abstract | The aim of this paper is to discuss the concept of trust in relationships, within a sociological perspective, starting from the contributions of Michel Foucault. This paper will present two sections: the first one (I) will focus on ways of living & sexuality in the ancient world -- to understand the connections & rebuttals made by the author about the Greco-Roman antiquity & modernity. The second (II) section will be devoted to the study of modern sexuality -- divided into: II.a) the knowledge fields & types of sexual modern normativity II.b) sexuality & the forms of subjectivity.
