Summary:Current qualitative research investigates whether arts teachers developed curricular adaptations in classes with children with types of deficiencies. Whereas eight arts lessons with children with several types of deficiency were under observation, interviews with arts teachers were the sources of data for current investigation. Results show that arts teachers have a certain stance on inclusion politics and that the didactic problems with students with deficiencies are highly similar to those of other students with regard to the lack of artistic knowledge.
