| Abstract | Case: A 65-year-old man with history of atrial fibrillation, hypertension, sleep apnea, MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) 6 months ago, and a significant family history of premature coronary artery disease presented to the ED (Emergency Department) with the chief complaint of chest pain that started while he was at rest. Given his recent MVA, delayed presentation of traumatic diaphragmatic rupture with hepatic herniation was the most likely explanation for the findings on chest X-ray and CT scan. |
