Summary: | Financial education is a critical topic/skill for the development of a progressive society. A project was designed and implemented to address two primary objectives. The first was to provide students with the opportunity to identify a critical need in a target community and to design an effective approach which would address the documented financial education challenges that are disparately experienced by low to moderate income predominately minority individuals and families. The second primary objective was to serve critical needs in their surrounding university community by applying their academic and professional learning to real life community needs.
