Summary:The Library and Information Science Institute at the Faculty of Humanities of EotvOs Loránd University, Budapest organised the first conference entitled Real library -- library reality in 2013, as part of the events related to the Festival of Hungarian Science. It is the aim of these conferences to give an opportunity for PhD students and faculty to demonstrate their research projects and achievements for their peers. The conference, held on 23-24 November 2015, took place at two venues in three sections with over 40 Hungarian and foreign speakers. The presentations well represented the interdisciplinary interest of PhD students, covering traditional and regional aspects as well. At the opening plenary session two prestigious professors of ELTE, Tibor Frank and Balazs Den presented on the role of libraries in science, and set the subject and tone of the conference. The audience received a booklet with the choice of talks. The article provides a brief coverage of papers.
