Summary:The study attempted to review the articles on three specific research areas—the teaching methodology, issue of teaching/integrating culture in EFL classes, and content-based instruction—published in the journal of English Language & Literature Teaching 1 through 19(2). All the articles on the three areas were analyzed in three criteria—research topics, research subjects (preschool children, elementary school students, middle school students, high school students, college students, adults, and all levels), and research methodology (research types, research designs, data elicitation methods, and data analysis methods). The findings are as follows: the most studied topics were language skill development and task/project-based instruction; the most studied subject was college students; the most preferred research methodology was experimental research. The suggestions for the future research are presented in the conclusion. KCI Citation Count: 1
