Summary: | The experiment on human and vehicle detection using Pi-SAR2 was carried out on December 12th 2012 in order to confirm the operational performance of Pi-SAR2. Although the sigma zero of human target is approximately -1 dB and is lower than the first assumed value, the human target was detected on Pi-SAR2 image. And the human and vehicle can be split on Pi-SAR2 image. As the result, it was confirmed that Pi-SAR has the potential performance for the detection of human and vehicle. The result of this experiment will be used for the development of a new small airborne SAR which has the same performance as that of Pi-SAR2. |
