Abstract | The recently proposed extended phaseless Rytov approximation for lossy media (xPRA-LM) has been shown to have good potential as a phaseless inverse scattering technique for strong scattering and low-loss conditions. xPRA-LM's linear phaseless form along with its large validity range makes it a practically feasible inverse scattering technique for real-world applications. In this work, we provide the with-phase form of xPRA-LM under strong scattering, low-loss media and compare its performance with the original phaseless form. xPRA-LM has opened up a new paradigm of practically feasible inverse scattering frameworks that can be used for large-scale radio and microwave imaging applications (such as indoor imaging using Wi-Fi signals). Hence, formulating and comparing its with-phase form can be highly useful in evaluating further research directions. |
