A Chirped Pulse Amplifier at 4.05 μm Based on Cryogenically Cooled Fe:ZnSe
A ~15-GW peak power, 1.1-W average power, mid-wave-infrared, femtosecond laser based on Fe:ZnSe and pumped by free-running Er:YAG lasers was demonstrated. 247-fs, 3.7-mJ pulses centered at 4.05 μm were produced at 300 Hz.
