L’insoutenable étrangeté de la musicothérapie dans l’être institutionnel

Clinical and institutionalized aspects of therapy are always in interactive resonance, and the unique practice of music therapy, specifically, is not always well identified. In addition, economic restraints dictate how an institution can function, and have a significant impact on the quality of healthcare, theoretical approaches, and all practices including music therapy which, in this writers’s opinion should not be dissociated from these other healthcare practices. This paper gives the testimony of a music-therapist in a private rehab-institution for adults with substance abuse, and other behavioral disorders. Clinique et aspects institutionnels sont toujours en résonance interactive, et la pratique singulière de la musicothérapie pas toujours bien identifiée. De plus les exigences économiques reflètent le fonctionnement d’une institution et ont une incidence non négligeable sur la qualité des prises en charge, toutes approches théoriques et pratiques confondues. En cela la musicothérapie n’est pas à dissocier des autres pratiques de soin. Cette communication est le témoignage d’une musicothérapeute en institution privée de soins de suite et rééducation dans le cadre d’accueil de patients adultes présentant des conduites addictives majoritairement avec produit.
