Summary:The nutrition with feed in which 2 % of dicalcium phosphate (DiCaP) was substituted by 2 % of monoammonium phosphate (MAP) and a corresponding percentage of animal chalk (Calcite) showed approximately equal and a little better results. The experimental group of chickens with 3 % of Fosfonal showed significantly higher weight gain and lower feed consumption. Even better dressing percentage was obtained in the group fed with MAP and Fosfonal. There were more deaths of chickens in the experimental groups, but they could not be associated with MAP and Fosfonal. The chickens getting 3 % of Fosfonal in the feed had 2 to 4 times less cadmium in their meat and bones than those fed with MAP and DiCaP.
