Summary:Number of soybean lines lacking the Kunitz trypsin inhibitor were developed by selection method. It is necessary investigate the effects of Kunitz trypsin inhibitor on grain yield as well as on morphological traits and chemical composition of soybean. This study included eight soybean lines of the F4 generation, as well as their parental components, varieties Kunitz and Kador. The variety Kador and four lines contain Kunitz trypsin inhibitor, while other four lines and variety Kunitz had no Kunitz trypsin inhibitor. The differences of means and correlation coefficient of studied traits observed between the genotypes with and without Kunitz trypsin inhibitor were not significant, hence it can be concluded that the Kunitz trypsin inhibitor has no effect on the grain yield and total protein and oil content ini soybean seed.
