Summary:Biologically justified rates of copper feeding for gilts at different age stages were developed and tested on the basis of detailed analysis of copper content in organs and tissues, level of using this component in rations taking into consideration endogenic losses in pigs of different ages. They are: under 2 month-age - 7,8, 2-4 month-age -16,4, 4-6 month-age - 28,1, 6-9 month-age - 33,9 mg per head daily, which makes up 8,5 mg, respectively per 1 kg of ration dry matter. The influence of different doses of copper in rations on digestibility, using of nutrients and meat productivity of pigs is revealed
