Abstract The nutritional aspects of Arachis pintoi was studied in hydroponic culture in the greenhouse. Data on growth were collected through systematic sampling up to 74 days. The adjusted growth curves, as an exponential and linear model, showed that total leaf P, K, Ca and Mg followed the ratio of 1:14:8:2. The Ca:Mg ratio was 4:1. The maximum absorption (mg/pot) for Zn (2.52), Cu (0.38), Fe (5.54), and Mn (0.65) was at 62, 54, 60 and 54 days, respectively. The first approach for plant diagnosis could be K = 2 percent (51 cmolc/kg); P = 0.15 percent (4.8 cmolikg); Mg = 0.29 percent (24 cmolc/kg), and Ca =1 percent (50 cmolc/kg). The Ca + Mg/K ratio was 1.5. En el invernadero de la estacion experimental de la Empresa de Pesquisa Agropecuaria de Minas Gerais (EPAMIG), Brasil, se evaluo la exigencia nutricional de Arachis pintoi, cultivado en un medio hidroponico y establecido por medio de estolones. A partir de 30 dias y hasta 74 dias despues de la siembra se hicieron ocho cosechas, separando las partes aerea y radical de las plantas. En ellas se determinaron la produccion de MS y la concentraccion de macro y micronutrimentos. El ajuste de modelos exponencial y lineal mostraron que la concentracion total de P, K, Ca y Mg en las hojas presentaron una relacion 1:14:8:2 y la relacion Ca:Mg fue de 4:1. La maxima absorcion (mg/pote) fue Zn (2.52), Cu (0.38), Fe (5.54) y Mn (0.65), a los 62, 54, 60 y 54 dias, respectivamente.
