Abstract Scientists are constructing genetic linkage maps composed of DNA markers for a wide range of plant species. In this work, use of Resistance gene analogue (RGA) and Amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) markers in a doubled haploid population derived from a cross between two parents named 0734 and F1054 (with com & wheat crossing method) has been investigated in order to construct a primary genetic map. In total 107 individuals were selected from a population. Mean percentage of RGA, AFLP and both of two markers polymorphism was obtained at the rate of 26.8%, 28.6% and 26.8%, respectively. Data indicated that %56.8 of markers (54 markers) could be placed in 16 linkage groups, whereas 43.2% of them (41 markers) remained un-linked.
