With the aim of production of genetic material to use in sunflower hybridizations a research project was conducted at varians locations of Iran accordingly: 1- Karaj _ F6 generation of 50 pairs of CMS and related maintainer lines were planted and their F7 generations were in hand. These lines hand been originated from a cross between foreign hybrids with IL31 line. _ Back cross transmission of male sterility into sunflower inbred lines of (BC3) _ Regeneration and multiplication of 8 CMS and 8 restorer lines _ Cultivation of F7 restorer lines obtained from imported hybrids which resulted in F8 lines. _ Multiplication of 15 SC hybrids for final yield trial. 2.
