Summary: | In order to introduction of exellent melon cultivars for good quantative and qualitative, characters, This study carried out ten genotypes from different location collected and used in randomized complete block design with 3 replications in 2 regions. Native melon was used as check. Each genotype was sowed in lines with 4m longht and 50cm apart, distance between lines was 2.5m. During growth ,characters such as planting date, harvesting date, number of day from flowering to harvest, plant length, fruit weight, 100 seed weight, length and width of fruit and seed, flesh diameter, length of inner cavity, sugar pe-rcent age and yield was evaluated. irrigation was carried out per local system. Data analysed with use of MSTATC software. Compound analysis showed there are significant difference for plant length, fruit length in %1 level and number day from flowering to harvest, fruit weight, fruit width, flesh diameter and yield at %5 level. Interation between genotype and local showed significant difference at %1 level for number day from flowering to harvest plant length, fruit weight, fruit length, fruit width, inner cavity fruit yield and 100 seed weight. Comparition means by method Duncan showed local of Kerman (genotype number 6) with 17.51 t/ha had the most yield among of genotypes. |
