Abstract Wind is a main factor of the soil erosion in arid regions. Due to limitation of vegetation in this region. it can affect on the soil grains and transports them. Wind erosion is one of the most important processes’ that it is used on the different desertification models. FAO/UNEP and ICD were the best current methods that they have analyzed. Then, the effective indices and sub factors of wind erosion criterion and its human and physical factors were identified, and then were selected the most suitable of them. The numerical value of them was considered as a desertification intensity class of wind erosion in the study area. In order to, the study area divided into 17 geomorphologic facieses (Work units) on the base of geomorphologic studies, and then all of the assessment was carried out in these work units (except, No.17). The results show that’ total study is under average class of desertification as the result of wind erosion.
