Summary:The effect of temperature on the toxicity of insecticides for sugar beet root weevil (Bothynoderes punctiventris Germ.) adults was studied. The adults used in experiments originated from locality Backa Topola, Serbia ((Yugoslavia i.e. today Serbia and Montenegro) during 1996 and 1997. Insecticide formulations of cypermethrin, monocrotophos and their readymade mixture were applied. The toxicity tests were conducted at three different temperature: 14, 20 and 25 deg C. The data obtained demonstrated dependence of toxicity on temperature, insecticide chemical group and insect sensitivity status.
