Summary: | Four experimental diets in which fish meal was partially replaced (0, 18, 36 and 55%) by carob seed germ meal (CSGM) were fed to gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata L.). The results of this experiment demonstrated that CSGM can supply up to 36% of fish meal in diets for feeding g. sea bream without any adverse effect on fish growth, liver and gut.
