Abstract | A sound absorbing component includes an expanded body of a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin having a voidity of at least 50 vol.% and a resin molded body, wherein an air layer is disposed between the expanded body and the resin molded body. Though light in weight and small in thickness, this sound absorbing component effectively absorbs sounds in a frequency range of 500 to 3,000 Hz of noise outside the car, which is a problem particularly of a car.
L'invention concerne un élément insonorisant constitué d'une partie expansée en résine thermoplastique armée de fibres d'une vacuité d'au moins 50 % en volume, et d'une partie en résine moulée, séparées par une couche d'air. Malgré sa légèreté et sa faible épaisseur, cet élément est capable d'absorber efficacement les sons dans une gamme de fréquences comprise entre 500 et 3 000 Hz et est particulièrement indiqué dans l'isolation phonique des véhicules. |
