Abstract | A tyre pressure sensor for motor vehicles contains a reference pressure chamber (19) in the form of a manometric switch comprising a contact membrane (22) and a contact pin (23). The threshold value of the manometric switch is varied in function of the rotational speed. For this purpose, the reference pressure chamber (19) is sealed on the rim side by an annular membrane (28) whose inner edge is connected to the housing of the manometric switch and whose outer edge (29) is connected via an inertia ring (26) to the contact membrane (22).
