Summary:The present disclosure provides, in part, methods of transient blood-brain barrier (BBB) disruption by applying repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) therapy to a subject in need thereof for central nervous system (CNS)-targeted drug delivery. The present disclosure also provides, in part, devices that generate a low intensity magnetic field and variable frequencies for rTMS. La présente divulgation concerne, en partie, des méthodes de modification de la barrière hémato-encéphalique (BBB) transitoire par application d'une thérapie par stimulation magnétique transcrânienne répétitive (rTMS) à un sujet ayant besoin d'un tel traitement dans le cadre d'une administration de médicament ciblée sur le système nerveux central (SNC). La présente divulgation concerne également, en partie, des dispositifs qui génèrent un champ magnétique de faible intensité et à fréquences variables pour la rTMS.
