Summary:A battery pack according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a cell module assembly comprising a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a pack case which accommodates the cell module assembly and of which the top surface is open; and a fire-extinguishing tank covering the top surface of the cell module assembly, wherein the fire-extinguishing tank has an interior space for accommodating a fire-extinguishing agent, and a plurality of vulnerable portions which are portions formed to be relatively thin in a base plate of the fire-extinguishing tank and may melt and form an opening therein upon overheating of the battery cell, and portions of the base plate of the fire-extinguishing tank which are located above electrode leads of the battery cells are shaped to protrude downward toward the electrode leads of the battery cells.
