The specific surface area S (m2/g) of the negative electrode active material, the weight wa of the negative electrode active material, and the weight wb of the binder satisfy the relationship 0.5≤{wb/(wa+wb)}/S×100≤5.0. L'électrode négative pour batterie secondaire au lithium-ion de l'invention est équipée : d'une matière active d'électrode négative contenant un silicium, et présentant une nervure à sa surface ; et d'un liant. Ledit liant possède un groupe COOX, X étant choisi dans un ensemble constitué de Li, Na et K.
