Die Erfindung betrifft ein wässriges technisches Produkt, ausgewählt aus der Gruppe, bestehend aus einer Farbe, einem Putz, einem Lack, einer Lasur, einer Polymeremulsion, einem Slurry und einer Pigmentpreparation, das (a) 0,03 bis 1,4 Gew.-% Guanidin und/oder mindestens ein Salz des Guanidins, wobei sich der Gewichtsanteil auf den Gehalt an Guanidin in dem gesamten wässrigen Produkt bezieht, enthält, und das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass es einen pH-Wert im Bereich von pH 7,5 bis 12,0 aufweist. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zur Stabilisierung eines wässrigen technischen Produkts gegenüber mikrobiellem Befall, welches die Verfahrensschritte umfasst: (a) Bereitstellen eines wässrigen technischen Produkts, (b) Vermischen von 0,03 bis 1,4 Gew.- % mindestens eines Salzes des Guanidins mit dem wässrigen technischen Produkt und (c) gegebenenfalls Einstellen des pH-Wertes, so dass das stabilisierte wässrige technische Produkt einen pH-Wert im Bereich von pH 7,5 bis 12,0 aufweist. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wässrigen technischen Produkts. L'invention concerne un produit industriel aqueux choisi dans le groupe constitué par une peinture, un plâtre/ enduit, un vernis, une teinture, une émulsion de polymère, une suspension et une préparation de pigment, qui contient (a) 0,03% à 1,4% en poids de guanidine et/ou au moins un sel de guanidine, la proportion en poids étant basée sur la teneur en guanidine dans l'ensemble du produit aqueux, et qui est caractérisé en ce qu'il a un pH dans la plage de pH allant de 7,5 à 12,0. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé de stabilisation d'un produit industriel aqueux contre la contamination microbienne, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes de procédé consistant à : (a) fournir un produit industriel aqueux, (b) mélanger 0,03% à 1,4% en poids d'au moins un sel de guanidine avec le produit industriel aqueux, et (c) ajuster éventuellement le pH de telle sorte que le produit industriel aqueux stabilisé ait un pH dans la plage de pH allant de 7,5 à 12,0. La présente invention concerne en outre un procédé de production d'un produit industriel aqueux.
