Abstract | Disclosed is a method for producing high-nickel matte from ferronickel, comprising: mixing ferronickel particles with quartz and performing oxidation roasting to obtain a mixed melt containing ferronickel oxide and ferronickel silicate; granulating and crushing the mixed melt and performing magnetic separation to obtain a magnetic separation concentrate and magnetic separation tailings; performing reduction roasting on the magnetic separation concentrate to obtain ferronickel foam; and mixing the ferronickel foam with sulfur and performing vulcanization roasting to obtain high-nickel matte.
