A method of manufacturing a termination for a high temperature superconducting, HTS, tape by additive manufacturing using a moving sonotrode, comprises applying an end portion of a first HTS tape to a substrate and bonding the HTS tape to the substrate using ultrasonic welding. The method comprises applying a first layer of metal foil to the HTS tape, and bonding the first layer of metal foil to the HTS tape using ultrasonic welding. L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une terminaison pour une bande supraconductrice à haute température, HTS, par fabrication additive à l'aide d'une sonotrode mobile, procédé consistant à appliquer une partie d'extrémité d'une première bande HTS à un substrat et à lier la bande HTS au substrat à l'aide d'un soudage par ultrasons. Le procédé consiste à appliquer une première couche de feuille métallique à la bande HTS, et à lier la première couche de feuille métallique à la bande HTS à l'aide d'un soudage par ultrasons.
