Abstract Methods and apparatus for motor control having low noise variable-high frequency signal injection for an electric motor. Different injection signals have different signal characteristics. One of the first and second injection signals is selected on a cycle-by-cycle basis as part of a direct voltage signal input to control an electric motor. The first and second signal characteristics are configured to reduce acoustic noise generated by an electric motor. L'invention concerne des procédés et un appareil de commande de moteur avec une injection de signal à haute fréquence variable à faible bruit et pour un moteur électrique. Différents signaux d'injection ont des caractéristiques de signal différentes. L'un d'un premier et d'un second signal d'injection est sélectionné sur une base cycle par cycle en tant que partie d'une entrée de signal de tension continue pour commander un moteur électrique. La première et la seconde caractéristique de signal sont configurées pour réduire le bruit acoustique généré par un moteur électrique.
