Abstract | The present invention relates to a halogenated polymer A1 that comprises monomer units M1 comprising at least one fluorine atom, monomer units M2 comprising at least one carbon-carbon double bond -C(R1)=C(R2)-, and monomer units M3 comprising at least one conjugated carbon-carbon double bond -C(R3)=C(R4)-C(R5)=C(R6)-, wherein the groups R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 are selected, independently of one another, from the group consisting of H, C1-C5 alkyl, C1-C5 (per)haloalkyl, F, Br, I and Cl; characterized in that the molar ratio of the content of monomer units M2 in the polymer A1 to the content of monomer units M3 in the polymer A1 is less than 10; and the molar content of monomer units M2 is 0.01 to 15% and the molar content of monomer units M3 is 0.01 to 15% in the polymer A1. The present invention also relates to the method for preparing the halogenated polymer.
