Aspects concern a method for allocating a transport vehicle to a transport task comprising storing, for one or more vehicle type sets a mapping between the vehicle type set and a respective virtual vehicle type, receiving a request for a booking of a transport task, receiving an indication whether a requester of the booking of the transport task accepts that the transport task is performed by any vehicle type of a vehicle type set, determining a virtual vehicle type to which the vehicle type set maps, associating the requested booking with the determined virtual vehicle type, transmitting booking information including the virtual vehicle type to a booking service and the booking service allocating a transport vehicle to perform the requested transport task by selecting a transport vehicle from among the vehicle type set to which the virtual vehicle type included in the booking information maps. Des aspects de la présente invention concernent un procédé d'attribution d'un véhicule de transport à une tâche de transport comprenant le stockage, pour un ou plusieurs ensembles de types de véhicules, d'un mappage entre l'ensemble de types de véhicules et un type de véhicule virtuel respectif, la réception d'une demande de réservation d'une tâche de transport, la réception d'une indication précisant si un demandeur de la réservation de la tâche de transport accepte que la tâche de transport soit effectuée par n'importe quel type de véhicule d'un ensemble de types de véhicules, la détermination d'un type de véhicule virtuel auquel l'ensemble de types de véhicules correspond, l'association de la réservation demandée au type de véhicule virtuel déterminé, la transmission d'informations de réservation, incluant le type de véhicule virtuel, à un service de réservation et l'attribution, par le service de réservation, d'un véhicule de transport pour réaliser la tâche de transport demandée par la sélection d'un véhicule de transport parmi l'ensemble de types de véhicules auquel correspond le type de véhicule virtuel inclus dans les informations de réservation.
