The present invention relates to a shoe upper comprising a first zone and a second zone, wherein: the stretch of the first zone is greater than the stretch of the second zone; the shoe upper is woven by binding warp yarn and weft yarn; the weft yarn comprises stretch yarn; the warp yarn comprises first warp yarn and second warp yarn, wherein the first warp yarn and the second warp yarn form a warp yarn pair and are twisted to cross each other in opposite directions around the weft yarn to form an opening; the first zone and the second zone are woven with a leno weave in which the weft yarn is woven through the opening; and the number of openings through which the weft yarns pass is greater in the second zone than in the first zone.
