Abstract The present invention predicts the differentiation level of cultured cells earlier than completion of differentiation induction in a manner which is simple and not invasive to the cultured cells. This prediction method involves: collecting culture supernatant of cultured cells for prediction after the beginning of differentiation induction and before the completion of the differentiation induction; measuring the content of HICA in the collected culture supernatant of the cultured cells for prediction (step S22); and inputting, into a prediction model, the measured content of HICA in the culture supernatant of the cultured cells for prediction to predict the differentiation level of the cultured cells for prediction (step S23). La présente invention prédit le niveau de différenciation de cellules cultivées plus tôt que l'achèvement de l'induction de différenciation d'une manière qui est simple et non invasive pour les cellules cultivées.
