Abstract Described herein are novel methods of synthesizing pyridylhydrazines from halogenated pyridines in the presence of a phase transfer catalyst. Compounds prepared by the methods disclosed herein are useful for preparation of certain anthranilamides, compounds that are of interest as insecticides, such as, for example, the insecticides chlorantraniliprole and cyantraniliprole. L'invention concerne de nouveaux procédés de synthèse de pyridylhydrazines à partir de pyridines halogénées en présence d'un catalyseur de transfert de phase. Les composés préparés par les procédés selon l'invention sont utiles pour la préparation de certains composés anthranilamides qui sont intéressants en tant qu'insecticides, tels que, par exemple, les insecticides chlorantraniliprole et cyantraniliprole.
